Lake District log cabins near Grange-over-Sands
Our Lake District log cabins are available in two styles: Swiss or Nordic, the main difference being that the Swiss lodges feature a washing machine and dryer, whereas the Nordic lodges have a larger sauna. Additionally, 'Nordic Superior' lodges are also available with a lighter interior and enhanced facilities. See the gallery links below for a detailed look around each style of cabin.
All our cabins sleep four people in two bedrooms: one double and one twin. Each cabin has room for parking, plenty of grassed areas for kids to play, and each blends well into the site's woodland terrain. Well-behaved pets are welcome in the Swiss-style cabins, and guests are invited to use the hotel's bar and restaurant facilities with great food and friendly staff. The Woodland Hotel has additional parking and is located on the same site, at the end of the avenue of cabins, literally just a stone's throw away.
Our luxury pine lodges are ideal for relaxed family holidays
or romantic weekend breaks. For those wanting or needing to keep in touch with the outside world, WiFi is available in every lodge, as well as in the main hotel.
Lodges are offered on a self-catering basis, although there is nothing to stop guests eating in our hotel restaurant for every meal if they wish.
Our cabins have spacious, comfortably furnished living rooms with TV, radio, excellent views and access to raised balconies. Every kitchen contains an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Our Swiss lodges also have a washing machine and dryer, although Grange-over-Sands has a Laundromat if needed. Most Lodges have bathrooms with a bath and separate power shower, as well as either a sauna or an extra cloakroom. Please note that all of our Nordic lodges have larger saunas than our pet-friendly Swiss lodges.
