Excellent Hotel in delightful surroundings. The Hotel is set in a beautiful woodland area. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very Friendly. Lovely area for walking. There are Chalets on site with plenty of space between Chalets. The Hotel is close to Grange-over-Sands which has lovely gardens and seaside and lovely shops and cafes for afternoon tea,. Cartmel Priory is nearby.

Great short break. We recently had a five night break at the Woodlands Hotel and Pine Lodges. There were four of us and we stayed in one of the lodges. The sunny, well furnished lodges are very conveniently situated close to the hotel and we were able to have a delicious breakfast and dinner there. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be going again. We would recommend the Woodlands Hotel and Pine Lodges hotel to anyone wanting a very good value hassle-free, comfortable and relaxing holiday in beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

Perfect. Great last minute find. Stayed in a lodge for three nights with our dog. They are well equipped, clean and comfortable. Added bonus of a jacuzzi bath and own sauna. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay on the edge of the Lakes; perfect for exploring the area.

Ideal stay for a couple with a dog. We stayed at the Woodlands Hotel & Pine Lodges after being let down by another booking, due to their open dog policy that didn't allow dogs when we arrived!? In the end we would have been happier booking this place from the start thanks to the hospitality of the staff and the location for walking the dog. With a pub located on site it was a great place to sit and have a chat with everyone as well them being very accommodating with our dog (despite him being a big lad!). I would also like to give a special mention to Angelina who could not have been more polite and professional a real credit to everyone at Woodlands Hotel.
