Our bar and restaurant provide the perfect place to relax and enjoy freshly prepared, locally sourced food from our excellent à la carte menu, complemented by a fine selection of wines to suit all budgets. Vegetarians and food intolerances are catered for, and children under twelve have their own menu to choose from.
In the relaxed and informal atmosphere of our woodland hotel, we offer a variety of succulent starters, delicious main courses, and desserts fit to tempt any palette. Add a comprehensive selection of excellent wines and the scene is set for the perfect meal.

Perfect wedding venue - We held our wedding celebrations here over three nights in February. Our guests stayed in both the lodges and the hotel. Everyone was extremely happy with the accommodation and the food during the stay. Focussing on the wedding reception itself, it truly was such a perfectly executed operation. From the initial planing, to the decoration, the quality and appearance of the food, the amazing staff and the lovely venue. We could not have wished for better. The amount of effort and dedication that Angelina, Peter, Liam and the rest of the team put into the event was outstanding. At a time that is extremely stressful, it was reassuring to have our celebrations in such safe hands. If you are looking for somewhere to hold any kind of celebration, I would 100% recommend the Woodlands.

Specialising in function and event catering for small parties of up to 50 people, Woodlands Restaurant is a popular venue for local groups, companies and societies who come to us for their get-togethers. We can tailor a food and wine menu to your exact requirements and budget, and can also organise live music, entertainment, decoration or flowers if required. Whether you want a simple informal cold buffet, or a lavish, five-course wedding menu, we will work with you to provide you with whatever you desire.
Our hotel restaurant offers a cosy and informal atmosphere which blends well with its contemporary foods and wine. We have two restaurant areas – one that seats 18 people and another that seats 32.
